Happy 4th!

(Us at Fourth of July fireworks at Walnut Creek Country Club 2 years ago. PS, in case you all haven't noticed I have an embarrassingly large vein on my forehead that I have had since I was a baby, it always seems to "pop out" in pictures that would have other wise been cute. and PPS, boyfriend cut his hair the next day, the curly bang situation thankfully didn't last must longer )

I had a perfectly relaxing fourth of July today. On the third my boyfriend had a bonfire with some friends and it turned into a super fun night which involved a 1:30 am Denny's run (enough said...). But this morning I woke up early went for a run and enjoyed a nice big iced coffee. Alex and I went to the pool for a bit (it was SO packed) but then went to a beach after. We went to a private beach in a neighborhood near us with some friends. Being the huge worrier that I am I was freaked out someone would kick us out, but no one even patrols the beach so it ended up being no big deal. We drank black cherry pop and played in the water for a bit. I ate an amazing dinner and yummy strawberry ice cream for dessert. Overall it was the perfect day off.
