And in a last note I broke out the frapee maker this weekend. I love
that I can make my own flavors, I use silk vanilla soy milk, Torani
sugar free vanilla syrup, caramel ice cream syrup, and lots of ice! The
machine I have brews the coffee then blends it all in one machine, but
the same thing could be done by brewing coffee and pouring it into the
mixture of yummies and ice then blending it with a standard blender.
It's alot cheaper than Starbucks and this way I can control what types
of ingredients go in to control the calories. I figure mine has about...
coffee: 0 calories
ice: 0 calories
1/4 cup vanilla soy milk: 25 calories
Torani sugar free vanilla syrup: 0 calories
Smuckers Caramel Sundae Syrup: about 100 calories (that's for 2 Tbsp. I don't measure but it's about that much)
Whipped Cream: I put a thin layer on top so about 50-100 calories
which equals about 200 calories total

My favorite starbucks frap: Grande Java Chip Frappuccono: 460 calories!!
