Growing Up

Sometimes I forget how quickly life passes. It seems like just yesterday my boyfriend graduated from high school and we were spending our first summer together. But now I feel like we're such grown ups. Yesterday he leased his first car and is paying for it all on his own, and he starts his first big boy job today. I am so proud of him for getting this awesome opportunity! But I am secretly going to miss seeing him all day this summer. The whole 8-5 thing makes me wish we didn't have to grow up. Even though I'll be starting my 8-5 in 6 weeks nannying, summer just wont be the same without sleeping in late and staying up until 2 am. I'll miss our morning walks together and afternoon bike rides. But hey we all gotta grow up soon, sometimes I just wish life would slow down...especially during the summer time.
