| strawberry shortcake, us, us at the beach, my pretty flowers On Memorial Day, my boyfriend and I celebrated our 2 and a half year anniversary. We started the day off at the beach, where things didn't exactly go as planned. We didn't really think about it being Memorial Day and didn't realize the place would be packed! We ended up having to park a mile away from the beach and carry a huge cooler and bags the whole way. Needless to say I complained (just a little bit). After the beach we got dressed up and went to dinner at Webers an amazing seafood and steak restaurant in ann arbor. It's connected to a gorgeous boutique hotel and the food was too good (so good I forgot to take a picture). We got strawberry shortcake a la mode and it was like heaven. We finished the night off with a walk around Ann Arbor! Do your and your significant other celebrate anniversaries? We like to go "all-out" and celebrate the 6 month marks together with fancy expensive dates, but tend to not make a big deal out of smaller ones. |
