I've had a bad week

I feel bad for not blogging lately, but I decided to spare you guys from a whole lot of complaining. Nannying has straight up sucked this week. The girls aren't listening and are constantly misbehaving or fighting with each other. And on top of bad behavior, I'm on my period which has made my patience level about zero. I am trying so hard to just stick it out since I only have 6 days left, but I'm dying! I can't wait to go back to school and communicate with grown ups again.

On top of a bad week at work, this is my boyfriends last week at home before he goes back to school. Even though he only lives 30 minutes away, it's going to suck not being able to see him every day. He lives right down the street from me, so we're super spoiled in the summer. This year he will be living in a house with 4 other guys and I'm not going to lie I'm a bit nervous about it. I'm hoping we are able to get some alone time and that every day isn't an all out bro-fest. (anyone have any advice for dealing with boyfriends living with lots of other guys?)

So after all that complaining, the only positives about this week: I finally like hot coffee and I painted my nails my favorite color (essie's bikini so teeny) and it hasn't chipped yet!

  1. My advice on getting alone time when you boyfriend lives with other guys is make sure you don't only hang out around his place but try to get out of the house.:) BEST OF LUCK

  2. My boyfriend lived with two other guys who never left the house. Whenever I went to visit him, I suggested we go out to eat, walk around downtown, go see a show, etc. Try to come up with place to go and things to do outside of the house (just make sure his roomies don't think it's an open invitation for them to crash on!)

  3. oh no- well at least the week is almost over. mishehaving children are no fun. and while we were dating/ engaged ben lived in a house with 12 guys ... the solution was we spent most of our time at my apartment :P girls seem to be a little more capable of grasping the concept of alone time :P

ps. love the color of your nails!

  4. I agree with all the other comments. Make sure you plan ahead of time...Planning is key, do alot of stuff out of the house; from experience, once you've welcomed your relationship indoors with his roomies, it's really hard to get out. Best of Luck!

  5. Love the color of your nails! When my husband (at the time fiance) was living with two other guys, I didn't see him for two weeks and by the time that two weeks was over, he was BEGGING for some alone time! Absence stinks but it really does make the heart grow fonder!
