Eight Fears

10 Day YOU Challenge

1. Small enclosed spaces: I freak out when people pretend to lock me in a room. For example, the girls I babysit think its hilarious to lock stand up against the bathroom door and not let me out. I on the other hand have a mini panic attack everytime they do it (not so fun!)

2. Needles: I am that girl who cries and shakes when approached with a shot or the needle to get your blood drawn with at the doctors office. I start to hyperventilate as soon as the nurse enters the room.

3. Open Water: I refuse to go into the ocean above knee deep. And it's not because of a fear of sharks, or waves. It's simply because I hate fish and seaweed. Oh,  and a traumatic experience from when I was about 12. I was swimming in water above knee deep, a fish touched me, I ran away screaming, got hit by a wave, and my bikini top fell down (good times...)

4. Losing loved ones: I think this one is pretty self explanatory.

5. Bees: I'm not allergic to them, but I got stung right by my eye at a Cider Mill and have been scared ever since.

6. Not being able to find a job: This one is a bit more serious. But I am afraid I won't be able to find a teaching job when I graduate from school, and that my degree will go to waste.

7. Phone dying: This isn't really a fear. But I always get super scared when my phone battery goes below 20% when I am out in public, or driving. One time my phone died while I was driving home from school, and even though I knew I really wouldn't need it the fact that I couldn't use it if there was an emergency freaked me out.

8. Missing a deadline: Even though I obsessively check my phone calender, Lilly agenda, and my to do list on my desk I still get freaked out that I will miss an important deadline. I always get nervous that an exam is actually earlier than I think it is for example.

  2. I completely feel you on the missing a deadline thing. I must check my planner 5 or 6 times a day making sure I haven't forgotten something!

  3. I don't like the feeling of missing a deadline. It is scary to not have a job after you graduate (I just got mine after not having one for a LONG time!). But if it does happen, I promise that everything happens for a reason!

  4. In school I was always checking to make sure I wouldn't miss a big deadline....I had way too many friends and classmates who did accidentally miss deadlines and I for sure didn't want that to happen to me!
