My guess is that you have probably never heard of Teddy Geiger, but I promise you he is
amazing.
{listen to for you I will...you might have heard it before} I went through this phase in high school where I was kinda obsessed with him (like fan message board, posters by my bed, writing lyrics in my diary...obsessed). And my life was completed
(okay a bit dramatic) when I met him at his concert the summer before my sophomore year in high school. I got a picture with him and he signed my favorite picture of him. But the best part was that, he hugged me. Well, I hugged him, and it was kinda a side hug...But still for a 15 year old girl it was still the greatest thing in the entire world.
As the years went on my love kinda faded, the posters were taken down from my walls and I hadn't listened to his music for a while. But I still follow him on twitter, and my inner TedHead had to give his new music a listen. Of course I loved it. But this best part about listening to his new music is that I found out he will be in Ann Arbor this week...Mind you, this is 15 minutes from where I go to school. Even though he isn't playing a show, I have this secret feeling we will see each other and re-kindle our love

I was a fan when I was in High School too! I still have his songs on my ipod and when my husband hears me singing to it he is like "who is that?" and I just say, ohhh it's Teddy (: haha!
ReplyDeleteYa know, I've listened to him before but I can't remember what song(s). I had to google him to find out, haha. Oh! Okay, For You I Will. It's a pretty song, yeah! Oh and his birthday is the day after mine! That's fun. And that's a fun picture. It's funny - I have no idea how old you two are (I saw his birth date but not year) but you two look the same age. And like you know eachother. He looks pretty chill, haha.
