{Finally finished reading The Book Thief. As a self-proclaimed "reader" I am sad to announce that I loathed reading this book. It was so long (547 pages!) and it just took forever for the story to develop. I understand why it has been praised, since it does show an interesting side to the Holocaust, but it still didn't live up to the rave reviews in my mind. But I am happy to say after three weeks of reading, I am finally done!!!}

In other news, I received an A+ on the speech I gave for my CTAC class. I had to give the speech to another classroom in order to get an "authentic speaking experience", and of course the class just so happened to be an upper level communications class. But I was surprised to hear that the professor of the course was incredibility impressed by my public speaking skills!
