Closet Clean Up

{before & after}

It isn't a huge difference at first glance, but the top shelf of my closet was full of boxes and bags of unused things so I decided to move my hoodies off of the side shelves and move some boxes of shoes to the top shelf. This way I have my two side shelves for sweaters and jeans instead.
Some people like to organize by color, but coming from Michigan where the weather changed daily (50 one day, 85 the next, it happens, usually in March) I like to organize by sleeve length so I can dress according to the weather. I start with tanks, then short sleeve, then long sleeve. After shirts I have casual dresses, formal dresses, dress pants, formal skirts, and party skirts. In the very back I keep my blazers, and jean jackets.

All right, so I kinda have alot of pairs of shoes. But in my opinion you need different shoes for every occasion. Up here on this are the shoes I don't wear very often or shoes that are out of season. To save money I just put the shoes in shoe boxes I already own and put index card labels on them. I hope to one day move them to plastic boxes with cute labels, or picture labels.

Sprinkles, puppy kisses, and panera bread

I forgot how awesome sprinkles are, even though they make it 5 billion times for difficult to eat your ice cream cone, they are adorable and make your ice cream even sweeter.
Boyfriend's M&M Blizzard. Which I was able to steal one bite from (this is a huge deal, he usually eats it all before I can get a bite)
I am so sad I couldn't get a cuter picture of this cavachon because she was super cute. Of course Alex and I planned to go to the mall for his brother's graduation present, but somehow ended up at the pet store (funny how that happens). Even though I do not support buying dogs from pet stores, I feel so bad for the little guys being locked up in the cages so I always take one out to play. Even though she was a biter, this little girl was so snuggly and adorable. I fell in love, until the worker told us she was $1,700! A bit ridiculous if you ask me. Oh and when we got home boyfriend had a giant rash on his neck from her kisses (whoops!). I am convinced we are both allergic to dogs, but neither of us care since we both love them too much.
New obsession at Panera: You pick two with a greek salad and chipolte chicken panini (heaven in my mouth). This weekend I also got to eat at Olga's too. I am completely convinced if I could only eat food from panera and Olga's for the rest of my life I would be the happiest person on earth.
(please ignore the awkward bathroom mirror picture) but I am obsessed with these shorts. On clearance at Loft for 17 dollars, and the shirt on clearance for 5. Shoes were free (from sister's closet). I'd say its cute for a look under 30 dollars. {PS the items aren't available online, so no links, sorry!}

Rainy Friday & Week Day update

This week has been filled with way to much work in my online classes, but thankfully only 2 more weeks left! I've been waking up a bit earlier than usual so sugar free vanilla iced coffees have been my life saver. Please note the extra large size of that coffee, I had a four hour exam, it was totally necessary!
In case you didn't check it out, boyfriend and I celebrated our 2 and a half year anniversary on Monday. Read more about it here.
Today I hung out with my favorite class of kindergarteners. We weighed seeds and beans, and painted butterflies with water colors, lets be honest I probably had more fun than they did. PS. this is the word wall I slaved over making.
Current Nail color: Sinful Colors Sinful Neon. This picture doesn't do the color justice...it is like having a highlighter at the tip of your fingers its that bright.

 Also, my boyfriend sent me this adorable video, I cried during it obviously. It features a boy with cerebral palsy running and being supported by his classmates (priceless) You can read more here.
